Usually 1 liter of water is used for 2 tablespoons of herbal tea but the amount will depend on the taste of each. For children, the dosage should be halved.

To prepare herbal tea turn off the heat as soon as the water starts to boil, pour hot water over the herbal tea, cover and let it brew for 5 to 10 minutes.

In the teapot you use to make the herbal tea pour some hot water to preheat it and discard it. Place the herbal tea in the teapot and add the hot water, following the steps described above as infused. Strain and serve.

If you don't drink it immediately, always cover the infusions and put a few drops of lemon, so it doesn't oxidate and lose some of its properties. You can store them in the fridge and drink cold. Infusions should be consumed within the next 24 hours. After that time they begin to undergo a fermentation process.

Avoid using sugar. Excess sugar and sweeteners interfere with the flavor and active ingredients of plants, compromising their benefits.
